Ronald Jenkees was raised in Kentuky where he took a liking to music at the early age of four. His early childhood was rather peaceful and quiet. He was able to explore his musical interest with minimal distractions. In particular, he had a liking for jamming out on his keyboard to hip hop style music. In the seventh grade, Jenkees attempted to learn to read music by taking piano lessons. Unfortunately, he struggled with this and was unable to read sheet music. However, his love for music did not fade. During high school, he joined the marching band and created a role for himself. Although, he was still unable to read music, the director allowed Jenkees to play his keyboard in state competitions, and come up with his own “jams”.

Ronald Jenkees began his career as a musical artist in 2003 when he learned to use FL Studio to make beats, hip hop jams, and raps. He released a few albums within the next three years, but was not getting much attention. Then in 2006 he began making youtube videos, which is what he is most known for currently. His videos usually feature him wearing a funny hat and giving a small intro about a musical solo that he is working on. He always starts every video by saying “hello youtubes!” with the camera pointing straight at his face. He then goes on to set the camera down facing his keyboard as he plays a piece of music.

Most people tend to think Ronald Jenkees is a autistic savant because of his personality in his youtube videos. This is false. Ronald Jenkees is just a friendly individual who loves to make music. He has no disabilities. He does have many abilities to create inspirational and motivating music. One thing that makes him so interesting and likeable is the way he plays his music with passion. He only plays for fun. He even says on his own personal website that he does not mind if people download his music illegally. He just wants people to hear it one way or another.

Ronald Jenkees is currently writing his third album. Unfortunately he has not posted any new youtube videos recently. His popularity on the internet continues to grow swiftly. According to youtube, his videos have been viewed a total of 46 million times. His music has been noticed by several large companies such as ESPN, who asked him to write a theme song for a podcast. Recently, he was interviewed on the Fox Business Network.
