“Exoplanet is a big and complex game, and we need player's honest feedback to make it better.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are expecting to release a full game in 2023/2024.

Since Exoplanet development started as a hobby, it was amateur, chaotic and patchy, without any budget or proper planning. In 2020 we decided to begin professional development. We significantly expanded our team and started to create a brand new version of Exoplanet. The old version is still available in legacy beta branch, no password required.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our goal is to create a small but living atmospheric world to explore, an interesting and captivating story to follow, non-linear quests with different options to solve them and different consequences.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the moment there’s a relatively small new location with a complex multilayer design. That’s the place where Jack's adventure begins, and here you can get an idea about the world of K’Tharsis and its harsh laws.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game price might increase at a later point, closer to the final release.”

About This Game

Some say that Frontier’s gone, once mankind has explored the whole Earth. But it’s not. Now space is a new Frontier.

Exoplanet: First Contact is a third-person Action RPG set in a world of space western where technologies of the future meet cruel laws of good old Wild West. Explore the vast open world of the unknown and dangerous planet, leaving no stone unturned—weapons, gear, ore, food, even a bottle of fresh water—everything will be useful for a loner stuck many parsecs from home.

Do not shy away from any job, even a dirty one, but take care—no one can be trusted. Master new skills and use them to outsmart your enemies or you'll end up dead in the gutter in no time. Will you become a mean and ruthless bounty hunter or a kind and eloquent friend of colonists and natives? It’s up to you!
