Alien West is an 8-bit platformer where you’re fighting 1v1 with an alien. You can’t kill each other with bullets. Instead they knock you back. The point?
Elimination by kicking each other off the stage…
Throughout the level, you’ll get a drop of random weapons: stronger pistols, rifles, machine guns you name it.
Very simple, yet very addicting! I am not going to go into story line, yet it’s quite hilarious!
Another reason why I like Alien West is because it has awesome 8-bit style scenery!
As game progresses you’ll encounter stronger opponents with more powerful weapons, some of them have a very powerful knock-back!
There have been a few things I didn’t like though…
First of all. I understand there are developer needs to monetize an app some way, however banner ads which are consistent throughout the whole game and even cutscenes are quite annoying.
How can I enjoy cutscenes when there is an ad in a way? Arrgh!
I suggest developer to find other ways to monetize their app. For instance, I would be 100% okay if there were interstitial ads between scenes.
