Yokai is an old school platformer, for PC, Windows. And like the good old platform games, we are trying to deliver a fun and entertaining experience through simple, yet addictive gameplay mechanics. Right now, the game is in a very early stage of development, but we will release a public alpha demo soon enough, to get some feedback from the public, and for advertising purposes, since we are a fresh new indie studio in great need of investors. The game itself, will be released in four chapters. Each chapter will contain three stages composed by two levels plus boss level.
You want "spheres" and "lives," as well as "also," and "on solid ground."
Looks like a lot of fun though and the sound design is great.
Will the controls be configurable? Shift < Space for jumping, in my opinion.
